Just a quick tip before you make an intricate pose like that, the arm you want to measure with a U type of shape coming out of the torso first as it may come out looking a bit wonky if you do not also for the neck just a little bit by an inch or so, that will work well and make sure that you can always study your shapes because that’s what I did when I was a big beginner artist my art has gotten has improved so much from these tips, I am very glad that I see another beginner artist have fun! (PS IM NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE IN ANYWAY!!)
