My wall is concrete with metal tabs with a center hole at right angles to the wall so I used those to attach wood furring strips.

I also like the thicker metal pegs which come out less often as opposed to adding more plastic to my life.

I installed a pegboard above the kids workbench and I noticed afterwards that I have lost a lot of holes on the pegboard because of the piece supporting the pegboard...if I would have to redo the project I would've installed spacers. Love the mini shelve idea!

In my experience, the finger-jointed strips work a lot better than the continuous strips. Far less likely to become pretzels, and overall stronger.

Very impressed with your setup and video. Was your pegboard the tempered 3/16 you buy in store or the 1/4 inch you have to order on line that is moreof a mdf or hardboard. Thank you
