Good job for the entire playlist, actually i was building my own chat system, and i did it pretty much the same as you, but i was thinking on how i could send the new messages over subscription and not using them just as "receivers", bc actually websocket are 2 way communication session, and how you did it, you are using a websocket just to receive data real time, and not sending any data, besides the first data to establish the connection, just like i did it ^^ and imo we can do better, by sending the new messages over the subscription and not a mutation using http.

If you know how to do that or have any ideas on how we can achieve it, please tell me :)

i follow all tutorial from start until upload server in ec2, its really helped me to learn basic node js, but i have a
question. when we implement this in real server like AWS for example we must wait for a few seconds for chat compleatly send and delivery. if we want to display bubble message first before all data is processed on the server and database so users
not too bored waiting for the process, like a whatsapp, which part of the code should we change?

My question is suppose one user is offline and someone send the message and i am thinking how to make that unseen message highlightable when the receiver login because till now all message looks the same either seen or unseen

How would you go about having unread messages in the left side list of users to be bold, and having the list re-ordered based on new messages sent and received (just like FB messenger has it)?

Tips: When you use useState snippet, you just need to type in lower case. Then Tab to change position. The snippet will auto change the character after set to upper case.
