I appreciate your tips and suggestions.I also like some of the history and quotes from great players from the past. It's inspiring. Keep them coming. I had a question -iI that a Bach stradivarius trumpet you have. Looks a lot like mine . Just wondered. They play so easily and sound very rich to me.

I'm a trombone player, but learned trumpet fairly recently (started about a year ago). I've noticed that playing trumpet has helped my higher register on trombone, and my low register on trumpet is good because I already play trombone.

So I would suggest maybe using a trombone mouthpiece to practice really low notes? Or just playing trombone, it helps with lower air control, opening your throat, etc. It helps a lot.

My first instrument is alto sax, but sometimes I mess around on my brother's trumpet. The low notes are the easiest for me, but I have a lot of trouble getting high notes out.
