Collecting the Future: The Museum - Virtual Panel Discussion

This panel discussion was held on June 6, 2023, as part of the programming for the exhibition, Collecting the Future: Photography and Generative Art on the Blockchain. Presented by Assembly and Art Blocks, Collecting the Future is a landmark exhibition of photographic and generative NFT's from some of the most notable photographers of the 20th and 21st centuries, alongside pioneering work from important generative artists.

The panel brought together the leading voices for collecting and preserving digital art at major museums, exploring the institutional perspective on collecting NFTs and how their visions and practices are adapting to this new medium.
