I would not complain about the s8 facial recognition technology being a joke it's not like someone will be carrying a picture of you trying to get into your phone. especially someone you don't know.

great review as usual. Regarding facial recognition I have a question and a possible experiment and in review for you. Okay, they say facial recognition can be defeated with a photo. So, how about if you make a face that cannot be duplicated and nobody else has a photo of it. For instance, close one eye and squint, in a way that can be easily replicated every time. If that works, the phone recognizes you but no one has a photo of that exact face.

Thank you for this vid. Really nice and unbiased in my opinion. Looking at (a still image at) 13:35, I find the S7 looking more beautiful than the S8. Especially with just the one physical button and in Gold. I'm seriously considering getting the S7 edge in gold...coming from the HTC M8. The only thing holding me back is having the M8 boomsound speakers and S7 not comparing in any way with this...

I just purchased the S7 Edge over the S8 because I like having a physical button on the front and the price gap is too much for a very similar phones. I gotta say this is the best phone I ever had, it's just awesome.

I'm waiting for the *Note 8* to see what it has to offer (as long as there are no battery issues). I've never owned a Samsung smartphone and really considering if the S8+ is really worth it.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what the *Pixel 2* and *OnePlus 5* has to offer.

do you think the 8+ is too big of a size jump from the s7edge ? I want the bigger battery but I would have to change the size the standard s8 feels like it's a little to narrow for me too hold it slipped easily however the + was a tad large but I felt more like it was easier to hold . I just want other opinions for size

U forgot Bluetooth 5.0 and and it's the first Gigabit phone on T-MOBILE ... so it will be the first phone to get close to 1Gbps download... whenever T mobiles deploys it... oh and also is HPUE enabled... not even professional reviewers get all the info... 😁...

My exynos s7 edge got a higher score than the s8....6012 on the multi-core and 1975 on the single-core. That snapdragon sucks.

If you want an exynos 8890 s7 edge, the sd 835 doesnt really give you a big performance boost, both are octa core and the 8890 can easily match the 8895 which is faster than the 835. Tbh for Canadian market the only thing the s8+ has is the bigger screen, BT 5.0 and usb-c. But since the usb-c is only at 2.0 speed like the s7 edge its really not that big of a bump...but still the s8+ is soo tempting :(
