again, no way you can surf Alameda man made beaches, very shallow, you can go out 40 yards and the water is waste deep. Cold water for sure. Great parks, Lincoln was my haunt and I loved it, good bicycle ride from my home on Broadway.

Very, very expensive. I was born and raised in Alameda, went to all the schools from Edison, Lincoln and Alameda High, class of January 1957. The house I was raised in cost my Mom $8, 500.00 back in the 30's. It's for sale now for $1, 250, 000.00. A 2 bedroom one bath house just under 1000 square feet. Wow.
