He messed up his double lift. The trick uses 5 cards - 3 eights, 2 kings. At about 0:06 when he added the 'second' eight, he accidentally shows the corner of the fourth card (the second king) in his left hand. From then on, it's easy to follow.

Took me about 5 seconds to figure out that this trick is done for the viewer not for the person who he's actually looking like he's performing for which is the person standing in front of him That person's in on the trick cuz you can see him passing cards back and forth to somebody just off camera I don't know whether that's the person who he's pretending like his having a trick performed for but the trick is performed for us we're the people who he's entertaining The other guy already knows what's going on He's in on the whole thing

Using the svengali switch. He nearly slipped by exposing the K the first turn. Double lift the swing door on the back of the 8 card, doubled the reveal. He had to put the card in his hand to produce the card in the pocket. The deception started with the Houdini shuffle. Back palmed with an overhand sleight. And that's it. Remember, practice makes perfect.

He's just keeping the cards stacked. It's almost impossible to tell the difference between 1 card and 2 cards when you're looking at it, and he's taking advantage of that over and over. There's no trick cards. It's just 3 Kings and 3 8s

It seems pretty obvious 1 of the cards was always a double faced card. (8 on back and king in front). I kept seeing you flip over both cards yet 1 was always face up. Made me wonder then I simply rewind and saw the nonsense.
