Transformers Galactic Odyssey: E4: Punch/Counterpunch & Barricade - GotBot True Review NUMBER 830

This time I look at the Transformers WFC Galactic Odyssey, encounter 4, Dominus Criminal Pursuit, which consists of Punch/Counterpunch and Barricade. Barricade is reuse of the Earthrise Smokescreen. Punch/ Counterpunch is a reissue, whom we will compare with the original release. Both of these deluxe offerings are impressive, not perfect, but worthwhile additions to any collections. I would like to see a new Barricade figure in the Legacy line with the “To Punish and Enslave” slogan on him and a original vehicle mode rather than a Datsun. Still love that figure regardless.

Great review GotBot!!!! I found out that Micromaster Barricade being renamed Decepticon Runner is an homage to Dreamwave comics origin story for Barricade. He started as a Micromaster named Runner and then changed his name to Barricade when he was promoted in the Decepticons ranks. I also am considering using one figure for Punch and the second for Counterpunch. Stay safe and healthy my friend.

I really like Punch / Counterpunch. I have both as well. The transformation is just so cool, to the opposite faction as well as being wrapped up in the car mode. I still haven't taken Barricade out of the box yet after a few weeks that have passed. I am thinking of opening it now though. It does look pretty sweet. My son seems to, as well as I, and you, like the Siege colors of the windows so much better. But, this one doesn't look too bad :)

I switched the earthrise barricade head with siege one. Both head swaps look good on each other's mold

Fun Fact: the shoulder cannon that comes with is a desent gunt for bumblebee.

I love this pack, I missed out on the first punch/counter punch and this my first barricade so glad to habe these two. And I didn't think I'd like the colour on punch but I like alot.

I wonder if were get another announcment on the next Galactic Odyssey sets during the april hasbro con event. Here's hoping for some good characters using good molds.

Really want A G1 Barricade. For Prowl, I'm just going for his Combiner Wars just to so I don't deal with those clear plastic knees.
Though, the fact that he's packaged with (Counter)Punch who I'm not really attached to, makes it difficult to get this guy.
