Bondi to Manly walk
Показать описание
The Bondi to Manly walk is an 80km journey between two of Australia's most famous surf beaches. I especially loved taking in the harbour and ocean views, walking in harbourside bushland, visiting heritage sites, and generally getting to know Sydney a bit better. I also loved that I could base myself in one place (the Rocks, near Circular Quay) and take public transport to and from each day's starting and finishing point.
Several Aboriginal clans (including the Gadigal, Birrabirragal, Borogegal, and Gayamaygal) of the Eora Nation are the traditional custodians of the area the walk covers. An Aboriginal whale symbol features on the walk's markers, helping guide the way and providing a reminder of this heritage.
Please note there are plenty of beautiful vistas and points of interest along this route that aren't included in this video. And there are many ways to divide your itinerary. I completed the walk in four days, but I'd have been happy for an extra day to allow shorter distances (especially on Day 3) and more sightseeing.
