We feel their pain. Temperatures in Central Texas have been brutal and May is normally our rainy month. Not a drop. It feels like August. Peace and love to all.

We heard the warnings. We ignored the warnings. These are the consequences.

Not just India. It's also crazy hot here in Thailand too. And the whole world is becoming wetter and rainier too.

Everyone points fingers at everyone, the end result is everyone for themselves. This is not an optimum scenario.

PEOPLE IN THE USA DONT KNOW THIS IS HAPPENING. The US media is not covering temperatures in India and around the world right now. Probably because their advertising interests (their primary revenue source) depends on companies who wish to hide these facts--like climate change-related 49 degrees in New Delhi this weekend--from the public.

Even on the days when temperatures in Delhi touched 49 degrees, there were areas with very high green cover which recorded upto 4 degree lower temperatures. Trees might not be enough to reverse climate change, but green cover can bring down temperatures in the immediate vicinity.

Unfortunately, trees are being cut down all around Delhi by builders to construct houses which lie empty and mostly just serve as 'investment' for the super rich of NCR, especially in the city of Gurgaon. Trees are the real investment we need to make for our kids, not a bunch of concrete that no one will want to live in if things continue on this path

Last June the northwestern USA and southwestern Canada had a similar record breaking heatwave and only a month after most of the region saw their average last freeze, it was not a good corn, apple, cherry or wheat year because it was so early in the farm season. This is definitely climate change unfolding! 6 months later our area had record breaking overnight snowfalls and a year later we can hardly reach typical springtime temperatures! Our weather is becoming increasingly temperamental by the time the countries of the world all agree it will be too late

I am in Mangalore right now. It is raining heavily here for last few weeks. Very unusual. Climate change is real.

How bad does it need to get before humans understand, regardless of race or class, that we are all in this boat together. Wellington New Zealand last summer in the southern hemisphere also experienced a sustained heatwave for the first time in living memory. We had heatwaves in Europe in 2019 that went on for over a week.

I from Madagascar, and I can tell that it has changed so far in my country and the temperature has risen to 49° C in the south and flooding has become more and more frequent in the east

When you add pollution to it - Delhi often tops the charts - it's diabolical.

I live in an area with a lot of Indian Immigrants and when I was growing up I heard a lot about how India was going to be the next world superpower ...and like not to be offensive but most videos I see from India its hard to believe that will be true anytime soon. More and more I now see the immigrants I grew up with were fleeing their country more than anything.

Here in the USA we haven't lowered our carbon footprint at all even if some claim we have, we merely sent the carbon output (manufacturing) to other countries. Carbon footprint should be based on consumption.

The worst part about all of it is that if we were united, we could slow down or stop the progression of negative climate change. Many of our problems are preventable yet we are more concerned about the pride of one's nation and, securing ones borders, bombing and killing without restraint. Why you might ask?..so that the victor may rule a depleted and lifeless planet not fit for the maure pile. Perhaps we don't deserve this Earth
