as a massi i cut the umbilical cord although daddy was there so if she is there it be nice for her to do it.. its the best feeling and ao speacial.. father can do the skin to skin.. also he can cut it when ever you have a next one or of she not there he cuts it but its nice to have everyone being part of something special especially when they come to the world.. and has babies aunties who will only be visiting or seeing baby on holidays only it be nice to have the special bond ❤

Dear alanna ivor, i don't know whether you'll read this or not, just to let you know that here in the ARUNACHAL ( NE Region of India) we have a tradition that, we celebrate when the umbilical cord falls off n preserve the dried fallen umbilical cord of baby and later make it locket like inside glass locket, or frame it.
