In the beginning, I wondered what was a normal increase. After multiple case studies and of course myself as a guinea pig, we've found the answer to what a normal increase for Isometric and Isochain training would be after a month

I was doing strictly isochain with the bruce lee workout + curl. I managed to do this for 8 days and lifts increased 6-40% for every lift. Deadlift just above knee the smallest increase from 305-325. Some of the higher increases likely due to form and leverage increases. Calf raise most from 118-167.

I can feel the strength/coordination increases.

I have since reduced to every other day because I was unable to recover and it was affecting my quality of sleep and appetite negatively.

The strength gains are real for this. I physically feel stronger all the time. More stable and better able to produce force.

I will continue training this for a month at reduced frequency.

20% in a month? That's awesome! Now, keep going for an entire year, and let us know the results. That's what I'm doing and will publish my results on 8/30/23. Progress at that rate should turn an average man into a superman!

btw way Chrys there's been some info on type 2 muscle fibers . And 2a muscle fibers convert into 2b, which are the most powerful ones.

You know this makes me wonder, if you were to train for only hypertrophy for only increasing muscle mass and then use the isochain or overcoming isometrics to in a way, jumpstart the strength gain from the existing muscle mass?
Would you then get the fast lane to dense (high amounts of 2 twitch fibers for higher muscle activation) yet big muscles from the hypertrophy training?

You mentioned the idea of doing dips on the isochain. A possible way it can work is by placing the base plate under the dip machine’s base. If you hook the bar with your legs, that should allow you to use the isochain for dips
