I’m happy for B dumping all those toxic ass friends, and I hope she’s out living her best life. There is no excuse for what happened to her and how the people she trusted just stood by.

1st story: the fact that B's friends/coworkers doubted that Dylan assaulted B or was capable of assaulting a girl is disgusting beyond belief. Just how well did they know the guy? Were they really really close friends? How can you vouch that a person could never do a terrible act?

people really underestimate the effect of abusive friendships in someone's mental health, I had a extremely abusive friendshipfor almost 10 years and I'm still recovering from the lasting effects of the mental abuse I suffered. The first story really hit home.

1st story triggered me, I had a “best friend”, I’d do anything for her. It took me being a young adult to realize she was never a friend and bad situations she put me in. I don’t keep in contact but she tries to find out info on me by my family members. I don’t understand her obsession with me.

If you are assaulted like story #1 please don’t shower after if you can help it, go straight to the police so they can gather evidence and DNA evidence. What a horrific thing to go through. I hope Abigail gets what’s coming to her.

I've had a couple "best friends" like this. It happens when you've got issues with self confidence, unfortunately. I had a very unsupportive and abusive home life, so I just let it slide for a lack of ability to stand up for myself and not feeling like I deserved better. "Friends" like these are narcissists that feel the need to have people under their thumb do feel powerful and in control. They're really just sad, pathetic sorry excuses for human beings. Eventually, karma bitch slaps them and the get what they deserve.

If you've had an abusive friendship like this, my heart goes out to you. You deserve better, don't let toxic people take up space in your life.
