Cairn Adventure 1.0 Gravel E-bike Review

Adventure 1.0 is the lightweight Fazua motor powered E-bike from UK company Cairn and I've spent several months testing this Hunt carbon 650B wheeled version for several months. Mine arriving in a few weeks, even more excited now. Used to ride the trails around Northallerton in the 1990s on various mountain bikes.

How long does the battery life last for? Would it be capable of doing a full day? Interested because I need one for a food delivery job..

Glad you enjoyed the bike. I love mine but in the end going to get rid of it due to the Fazua system....as only ever managed to get max 31 miles range out of it (mainly road work and in eco setting with only a few minor hills)and only seems to have 3 power settings not the 4 advertised.

Mine was due this week but is delayed awaiting Fazua batteries, having seen this I think it will be worth waiting for though.

15.5kg was a bit weighty for me so i went for the eSilex 600.

Great review. Lovely and robust looking bike. Can't believe you charged through that river though, completely drowning the motor! And no ill effects to electrics manifest later on? Amazing if so, always something I'm very aware of (not doing) on my ebike for fear of it going kaput.
