Thanks for the encouragement:)
I only started about four months ago.
I was only going to resell sets, but my courier regualy damages boxes and I've got fed up sending them back.
So now I've just opened a bricklink store and I'm selling any set that comes with a damaged box:)
It's surprising how much shelving and draws adds up to though.

Right now, a lot of the Lego Star Wars sets are already sold out. The AAT, the 501st battle pack, the Imperial Armored Marauder, the Mandalorian Forge.
Those are the main ones. And it's not even November yet.

Should I sell my stranger things upside down, 1989 Batmobile, and Jurassic park t-Rex rampage sets? They’re value growth seems to have slowed down. At least on bricklink

Some other tips: #1 Buy first and think later. During Q4 sales some things only last minutes and not days. You can always return the item if you don't want to keep it. #2 When buying from Amazon your max purchase is usually 3. Buy 2 at the initial sale price. Allow yourself to buy one more if there is a price later that is even better.

Quick flips are a huge pitfall. I failed my first year, thinking I could capitalize on the Elf Clubhouse bc it wasnt available anywhere. Instead I got insulted for being above RRP and ruining a kids Christmas. It comes with the territory, but I wasnt charging insane rates, and was barely making a profit, just to move units.

I would say that planning is the most vital operation, and don’t let the deals that don’t interest you, dip into your budget. I dont care how much of a discount the Advent sets have, I never will buy them, just no meat on the bone, and following Christmas most are holding stock in a set that doesnt even have comparable part out value to offset the ‘deal’.

Great tips Shane, I appreciate the content!

Im new to lego and am looking for info! Thanks for the video! Where do I find which sets are retiring, or when they retired?
What are some good strategies for someone new? Are pricer sets better than cheaper ones -as far as ease of reselling/liquiidty?
Are you buying one year and selling the next? Do you wait a minimum period of time before selling?

Hey Brick Bucks. How do you find sales for lego?

Just got the Star Destroyer, even though it is a personal item, I will keep the box and instructions mint condition. I’m going to start buying up these old sets and the cheaper ones that have great minifigs. I also have so many old Lego sets from retired lines that may be worth a lot so I need to go through those also. This is an expensive investment though, especially with price raises😂

Hello from Italy, I'm new to the channel, thanks for the advice, of course the European market different from the American one but the meaning of the speech does not change, I wanted to ask you for advice, on the online lego store, with VIP points it is better to get discounts or to get exclusive merchandising that could be worth it? Another question, what do you think of the 10305 set? I'm a beginner and it's very expensive, my instincts tell me to get at least one though, say wait? I will continue to follow you because I also want to do this in life!

Yoy should start buying in september. There are multiple retirements in september this year. If you wait for black friday etc. you may miss some sets.

Hi Shane I’m new to your channel and loving the content. Keep it coming! I have one question with regards to investing … if I hold a set for say 2-3 years then sell it and the buyer comes back to me saying it’s missing pieces then what? Unsure how they’d go about getting these from Lego?

Fell into the "certain sets never going on sale" trap. Dang it.

Hi Shane great video as always. Coming up to my first Q4 as a seller so a bit nervous. When would you recommend actually starting to list your items? When is too soon or too late? I’m thinking eBay as I don’t really understand Amazon FBA or FBM
