Fun fact: in italy, where I live, Barney's voiced by Claudio Moneta, famously known for voicing SpongeBob SquarePants, and since SpongeBob is already a sort of childish voice Moneta had the brilliant idea to use that voice for Barney's boyish talk. So basically, you can hear Barney trying to pick-up girls while talking like SpongeBob.
