Iron Butterfly - Unconscious Power INSTRUMENTAL

A real groovy, psychedelic tune from this California band's 1968 debut album. Busy riffs throughout. This was also the band's 2nd single ever released, but this one failed to chart at all. However, their follow-up single, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" would go on to cement the group into acid rock legend status.

Organist, singer, and key songwriter Doug Ingle recently passed away (May 24, 2024). He was the last surviving member of Iron Butterfly's "golden era." Iron Butterfly technically still tours around, but with none of the group's members from the 60s.
