Save Our Water Treasures- The Dead Sea Revival Project
Показать описание
What is #SaveOurWaterTreasures?
There are three historical and beautiful water treasures that exist in Israel: the Dead Sea, the Kinneret, and the Jordan River. Since Israel achieved peace with its neighbor, Jordan, they’ve been sharing these water treasures.
Unfortunately, these beautiful bodies of water and it’s living surroundings are at risk, as the waters are at the lowest they’ve ever been in recorded history.
We, at the Dead Sea Revival Project (DSRP), are advocating for a natural solution to increase the water levels.
This solution would involve restoring the water levels in the Kinneret, so that fresh water can flow into the Jordan river and then down to the Dead Sea, which is also in real danger.
This is the natural solution that solves the main reason for the receding water level of the Dead Sea.
Israel, as a global leader of water management and technology, has the ability to resolve these issues, and many people are working to influence policy makers and the general public.
