I wouldn't judge those who sell though. Everyone's circumstances are different. Some have the luxury of time to wait and hodl; some might be in their twilight years. Delayed gratification until you're in the grave doesn't make much sense. Remember nothing is more precious than time, not even bitcoin.

The only thing I would sell my bitcoin for is to pay off my student loans, but the reality in that world with bitcoin is 1M+, is credit scores won’t matter at all.

Exactly! Everyone has different circumstances. I have a disabled child. It's a TON of work, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let some twenty something with too big glasses, a red nose and no life experience tell me that I shouldn't be cashing some in to pay for my boys therapy or have a nurse come in to help out occasionally.

Discounting my personal situation, I also see ZERO problem with taking some off the top to fund some "lifestyle upgrades." Buy a home, pay off the mortgage or other debt. If you're a car guy then getting your dream car can open up adventures with others that would not have been otherwise possible (Note: if your dream car is a tesla, you're not a car guy). Taking a dream vacation with a loved one is going to be a lot more memorable than sitting in a cramped apartment because you are afraid to spend some money or feel guilty doing so. Yes blind spending is not wise, but some items can enrich ones life. What those things are depends what interests you have. The trick is to have enough BTC to begin with so that when you take a bit off the top you still have plenty to secure your future.
