I walk with my dog daily...LOTS of stops for sniffs, sooo not ideal BUT he gets me going fast AND out every day!! Great topic! Thanks!

I love walking with a weighted vest. It's great for your bones and add intensity to the walk.

Get a dog...seriously! I went from 135 to 112 within just a few months of having my pups! I tried EVERYTHING to lose weight prior and could never get lower than 120 EVER after going through menopause. Got my dogs and literally without even trying, the pounds just melted off! I walk them 2-3 times a day. I only do about 1 mile for first walk and anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 mile for the 2nd. It's crazy! Nothing else ever worked like this! I'm beyond thrilled! Even when I pig out on my faves like once or twice a week (occasionally even more!) like pizza, pasta, deserts and bread I'm still able to maintain the weight loss. When I eat less and walk, even more pounds drop!

I am an avid walker and have always been. I get in a minimum of 10, 000 steps a walk at a brisk pace 6 days a week. I only get about 5, 000 steps on my rest day and that is at leisure. I live in the mountains and have lakes, mountains, and greenways right out my front door, so my walks are up and down and over and out! It is super hilly here! LOL! The best time of my day are my walks!

I love walking. I walk 3 miles 5 or 6 days a week. I need to do more strength training so I am going to walk with my 5 lb dumbells. Thanks for the tips❤❤

With sciatica it's hard most days to walk outside because of the pain or even just getting to the corner before my bad leg wants to give out... So is walking at home workouts still good to do if you can't get outside or get to a gym for treadmill?
