Let me give you people an actual stock trading advice:
1: dont use money you cant afford to loose
2:follow as much world wide news you can
3:follow what politicians buy/sell and do the same if you are catching it irl(nancy pelosi has the best insider info)
4:from step 2 find out which stocks will be affected positively or negatively based on the world events(for example invest in norwegian oil company when russia no longer supplied europe)
5: dont keep your eggs in one basket
6:rinse and repeat

It’s not something that has come easy to me. Which I admit has been highly frustrating to me. Learning to back test and use fib is just challenging to me.

I agree with most of what you said. Trade in the zone is great book also. But man, 2-3 months and you good to go, well I don't think so, I will say minimum 1 year to go true market cycles and get use to with volumes

Trading in the Zone will be meaningless until you have a year of trading under your belt, here is where I would start, learn price action and the basics, find a very good mentor, pick a strategy or some area of trading that fits your personality, and go from there. One thing, do NOT quit your job thinking you are going to hit the ground running, give yourself 5 years minimum, best of luck...
