I’ve been reading a book by Mark Mobius called “The Little Book of Emerging Markets.” First of all it’s great. But Mark’s also the reigning champion, the big cheese, the shot called in emerging markets. At the very start of the book he has this off the cuff, throwaway line that I just love: market activity is essentially mass psychology. Trading is more about what you think than any of the underlying financials.
