What to Learn to Build Your Own Websites

In this video Andrew shows resources to demonstrate the power of HTML and CSS and two great free guides to learn html and CSS. You will have everything you need to know to build your own websites. Everyone wants to learn frameworks. But the truth is for many websites they add unnecessary learning curve. Once you have learned proper content and layouts you can move on to javascript and frameworks when your website requires it.

HTML and CSS are used by all websites. In 8 hours you can learn all you need to know about HTML and CSS to make your life easier. React, Angular, VueJs, MVC, Blazor, and other frameworks are only necessary for binding data, reusing components and help debugging your javascript. For many small websites it is completely unneccessary. The other problem is if you learn a framework but don't learn HTML and CSS first there are a lot of problems you can create for yourself. Do yourself a favor and learn the basics first. You can easily spend hundreds of hours digging deep into the frameworks.
