(Short audio recording) Fastest 56k dial up Quick-Connect handshake V.92 ZOOM modem

This was the fastest V.92 handshake I have ever heard, using my Cisco 3825 server and a ZOOM V.92 modem.

..oh mah lord. compared to other modems, this one is SOOO fast, even skipping the DIL section for speed. it’s crazy how dial up was in the past, but somehow achieved 10 seconds or less connection.

these are the TWO fastest modems
even the answerer was incredibly fast
for a connection this fast it takes a fast transmitter and a fast answerer

There wasn't even a DIL signal! (Well, except for the quick beeps @ 0:08 and 0:10, which does confirm this is at least a v.90 connection.)

The way this V.92 handshake sounded made it feel like it went from ISP digi to user/client digi. (Which is highly unlikely. Cause that ZOOM modem isn't a digital modem, i think.)

But +- 10 seconds. 🧠=💥 That's Wi-Fi levels of connecting.
