You have captured the essence of “ balik kampong” in general.
Love that warm feelings it creates…my mum is from Gopeng. Thank you

It is very difficult for me to put down in words the feeling I have with Kampar. A town I grown up and studied. So much memories left behind during my childhood and teenage days, both bitter and sweet.

This video production doesn't accurately depict the real images or essence of Kampar, the town, its surroundings, or its culture.

The argacia dysney town is a failure attraction for business venture n over development by the developer for profit making. The existing non occupancy has been in declining state, vandalism too. The kampar council is not doing enough to monitor n upkeep the road conditions of the road conditions, pedestrians walk path in the old town, cleanliness of the streets. If the council has lack of man power, it could easily engage private contractors to do sweeping n clearing rubbish, litters, some areas like neglected for weeks.
