I love this channel because of the real life practical tips for self-defense, in real life confrontations. You can tell Nick has ACTUALLY been in real street fights, and he isn't giving you all these pretty moves, that can never be done in the streets.

One possible defense against a headbutt I was taught from a Muay Thai instructor was simply to tilt your head forward (chin tuck into neck) and have the top of your head meet the opponents face.

If you play soccer its the hardest part of the head you use to head the ball..Obviously you need to train for this and be very aware of your space.

Nick have you ever taken Haganah? I've been taking it and it's most of the same moves you teach, it's very basic and very fun and somewhat easy to learn. I like it a lot i've been in it for about 2 weeks almost 3 and it is teaching me different techniques, forms, etc just for different strikes or angles to use against an opponent.

Good video, there was a news story today about a man who got into some kind of argument and altercation with his father-in-law, and headbutted him to death. That's what brought me here. Would an eye jab defense have any utility for this?

man, i totally let a guy get in my face and headbutt me. was at the doorway to my room. felt like i was holding my ground, but retreating slightly into my room with arms in front would have created space and meant that if hed followed me id have been 1000% justified in fighting. i got lucky and it barely hurt plus he got in minor trouble with law and was evicted. need to step life game up and get my own place at least. crazy thing is how fast it all happened, 1 minute in my room chilling out next minute this asshole at my door. gotta always be ready for action.
