NEX6 is fantastic for both stills and video. 1080p 60fps video looks absolutely brilliant.  Highly recommended camera in my opinion.

No, power zoom is totally not worth mentioning, but it's that extra wideness of the lens, it's quite a difference and also it is much more compact which goes along with the NEX bodies. Think a little bit okay?

its got everthing i missed on the 5n, to bad that there no toucscreen... but the nicest thing its affortable.... and i will by one for sure

The reason we used NEX-7 was because we didn't have enough early NEX-6s to use them in production. NEX-6's are good for video, and we would have used them without hesitation if we could have gotten a few more.

What do you mean? Specs on sony site said it has built-in stereo microphone

In what way is the SELP1650 a better lens than the SEL1855 that comes with the NEX-7? Because it has the power zoom function? You can right off the bat the NEX-6 is intended less for professionals than the NEX-7 because the kit lens it ships with has more automation, designed for people who don't necessarily need manual control. Side-by-side comparisons also show the SEL1855 to produce sharper images at equivalent focal lengths.

Exactly why do a video of the Nex 6 and then shoot the video release with the Nex 7....Very misleading.

I’m so sorry I didn’t get this camera. I got the Samsung galaxy camera EKGC-100 instead. I mean it’s a good camera but it’s got the android software of a galaxy s3 and in 2019 it’s showing it’s age. I’ll be buying probably Sony’s latest compact system cameras next.
