Just brought one home today from Best Buy. I've dreamed of getting a huge Odyssey monitor for years but the more than thousand dollar price tag always kills it. Saw this sitting on the shelf running a demo and pulled a rep aside to make him find one. Can't believe it cost me $1, 100 but im so in love with it so far.

Picked mine up from Best Buy a couple of days ago and OMG, the colors are amazing. I had the 49" Ultra wide LCD, and the screen was going under warranty. So, I exchanged and came out of pocket a few hundred dollars. Well worth it so far.

I use a samsung 43inch QN90C as a monitor and I never had to sign in or connect to the internet or anything. Are you sure you had to do all that to use it?

I ditched my 57" Odyssey Neo G95NC Curved QLED DUHD and replaced it with 49" Odyssey OLED G93SD Curved DQHD. Moving from 7680x2160 at 57 inch to 5120x1440 at 49 inch, I was expecting the clarity to be pretty bad but this monitor surprised me. In Le Mans Ultimate at 5120x1440, finally, the game is maxing out the fresh rate with native AA. The only I dont like is the thick bazel but it sure is better than the QLED panel.

I will have this monitor placed on a very similar position, next to a window, similar to your room. Are the reflections barrable, is it to eye straining ? Should i go for the G93SD model, have you tried it ?

I just bought this today. When you take the plastic off the screen there seems to be another plastic film on the bottom part of the panel. Is that correct? I don't want to pick at it and it's not.

Would yall suggest this for 900€ ? Im currently running a 2x 27 inch setup and thought maybe this can replace the old one while upscaling to 240hz and better res than WQHD IPS. Im kinda afraid of burn in since half of the screen will be also used for home office. Does this make sense or am i just burning money ?

Seeing as a lot of these have gone on sale recently, I think about $1, 200....do you think they are prepping for a new model to be released soon? I'd be curious if a lot of the weird issues and QC problems are resolved. I'd love to add one to my setup, but nervous about these issues getting in the way. Also, does it support thunderbolt usb-c for macs?
