There's so much acting in Robin's face right before she says "Yes." You see that shocked expression slowly melt away as she manages to push a quiet, but joyful "Yes" after she gives in to her true feelings.

Robin ending up with Ted is one of the biggest crimes writers have ever committed on TV. It ruined the show for me and prevented me from ever re-watching any episode. True love should be about passion and chemistry and not just settling down with someone in your 50s who has always had a thing for you, but you were never truly in love with. It's sad for Ted and a pity for Robin.

Barney made robin agree to a marriage that ted cannot do. that’s true love..that’s why most of us don’t agree with the ending. When Ted and Robin broke up in 2nd season, there was no actual progress in their romantic relationship..most of it was just a fling.. but barney and robin got a long history to build up the relationship..that is why their ending doesn’t make sense...
