Yes we get new and improved infrastructure but at what cost? Uhhh.. practically nothing. Say a million construction workers go back to work. They are now back on the tax rolls so we get more taxes coming in. But it doesn't stop with the workers. They will need supplies. Maybe work shoes, clothes, hard hats, shovels, etc. Maybe the companies need new equipment or at least upgrade or repair their old equipment. That means many more millions go back to work to supply these products. More taxes coming in. More jobs = more money for folks to spend on things they need or just want. Which puts more folks to work to re-supply the products being sold. It's called capitalism, but it is the way it's supposed to work. Sharing the wealth, not pilfering it the way it's being done today.

Where is the call for children to pay "their fair share" of increased taxes? Not only do they not pay a cent, their taxpaying parents get deductions and credits for breeding. Our tax system is based on infairness and specifically pronatalism. The more this coddling of breeders in general and of women workers in particular goes on, the more employers of all stripes will be incentivized not to hire women at all.
