Terraria Beginners Guide Episode 29

In this episode we will not rest until we defeat the Moon Lord!

• We are better equipped this time around, with some magic weapons crafted from Nebular Fragments and some Super Healing Potions, let's see how we do.
• Moving to the sides works ok, and helps dodge some attacks, but you really need an obstacle to block it's main laser attack.
• The Nebula Blaze worked fairly well, but we have enough Nebula Fragments to try out the other magic weapon, the Nebula Arcanum - spoiler alert, it fails.
• Make sure you have every buff potion/effect you can get your hands on!
• There are a few potions that you need rare fish to craft, so get your pole out... that sounded dirty.
• After the 3 eyes are "killed" (they pop out and continue attacking after you've killed them), the heart opens up and you have to kill it to finish the fight. The good news is that the heart does not close, so you can continually deal damage. The bad news is that the 3 eyes are attacking you full-time now!
• The Moon Lord always drops Luminite, a Portal Gun, Super Healing Potions and 1 weapon from his drop list. Each weapon is super-awesome and is worth farming the boss to get them all.
• The portal gun is fun, but not incredibly practical. Best for puzzle adventure maps. It would be very handy, but the portals disappear after a certain amount of time or distance.
• The Luminite is needed to craft the armor and tools from the end-game set. These armors are widely considered best in the game for their respective classes, so don't miss them.
• This wraps up my beginner's walk-through/longplay. What's next?
• Keep killing the moon lord for more awesome end-game items.
• Generate another small world of the opposite infection (crimson/corruption) so you can harvest some of the resources that you do not have access to in your current world.
• Start over and do a thematic playthrough. Only Melee, or only Magic for example. Or get more specific, such as only Flails!
• Try doing some more creative building. Pixel Art, architechture, fountain sculpture, whatever.
• Try Expert Mode (good luck)
• Try a challenge run, such as the "Dark Elf" playthrough (you can not go to the surface... ever)
