You need to check out Corey's live acoustic version of Snuff.

Snuff is a song that hits on a level most songs can't even dream to get to. This one hits the soul in ways no others can.

I lost my wife last year to alcholism. I knew her for more than 20 years and we were together for nearly 13 years. She was my erverything. Since losing her so many songs (like this one) just hit totally different. I miss that girl so much, she just couldn't fight anymore...

Definitely one of their underrated songs. During 2016, this song helped me through a dark and rock bottom point of my life when I was struggling, homeless with an alcohol addiction. Eventually met my wife a few years later, bought a home together and conquered my addiction. Music is powerful.

R.I.P. Paul Gray. This song was the last single Slipknot released before his death less than a year later. Corey Taylor also played his own acoustic version of this song during his solo tour which he dedicated to Paul.

This song means a lot to me, it was originally written about Corey Taylor’s divorce with his wife and his conflict over the massive change in his life, and as a kid of divorce it always hit hard and helped me feel less alone about my own situations - was lucky enough to see this song performed live and it’s so beautiful and emotional❤ great vid as always man

Slipknot is ICONIC. Their evolution since "Wait And Bleed" first blew everyone's speakers and brains out is amazing. Long live the Knot 🤘🤘🤘

I rarely comment on videos but this song really means a lot to me. I've got CP and during my late teens, I met someone. Thought she was the one, she was so kind and caring. Because of my disability, I couldn't be able to do certain daily tasks and she used to aid me with those tasks. I think that factor strained the relationship over time and this song perfectly described all the emotions I had at the time - the pain, just felt like I was betrayed but also the rage and the guilt I've felt for being too codependent on her. The "...Spit your pity in your soul, you never needed any help" and "You sold me out to save yourself"... I always felt like those lines put some kind of emphasis on how I was feeling. I'll always be a fan of Corey's and the gang's, just because they've made this song. Since then, I've moved on and recovered from that relationship but this song will always hold a special place in my heart.

This song has gotten me through some rough times. It's by far my favorite of their entire catalog. ♥️

41 year old metal head hear. Corey Taylor is an amazing, generational singer. Very raw and emotional as well as growling, heavy metal singing styles. A master of both. He also is the front man for the band Stone Sour. His voice is the sound of my generation. This song still moves me to tears. He first wrote this about the pain of losing a woman he loved that didn't love him back. Later Corey played an extremely emotional acoustic version of snuff dedicated to his best friend and Slipknot founding member Paul Gray (Base Player) after he passed away shortly after this sound was released. RIP Paul 🙏

I listened to this song over 200 times in 2018 when I was going through my divorce. Every line hit me so hard.

What I love about LayedBakDFR is that he speaks to everyone. He always keeps a positive vibe in these trying times and I appreciate that.
