Ok, this is my favorite cookie recipe. I've modified the original recipe, and it makes 36 cookies, so here it is:

Ingredients:
3 Cups flour
1 cup granulated (white) sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter (I love Kerrygold, it's higher quality and I think it makes the cookies just a bit better)
1 TEAspoon baking soda
1/2 TEAspoon baking powder
1/4 TEAspoon salt
1 TABLEspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions:
1) Start by lining three cookie sheets and preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit ( 177 degrees Celsius, tho I don't know if that will help cuz I'm from America)

2) In a medium size bowl, mix together 3 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt and set aside

3) Now in a large bowl ( I use my stand mixer, but you can use a handheld electric mixer. I don't advise using a whisk for this part) cream together 1 cup SOFTENED (This means let it sit out to ROOM TEMPERATURE before you bake, no microwave you lazy bum!) butter and both the sugars (Brown and granulated/white) but only until they are mixed, don't let them over mix!

4) Add your 2 eggs and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar

5) Mix the dry ingredients (the flour mixture) with the wet ingredients (the butter mixture), and don't over-mix this, just until everything is combined * you may have to check the bottom for ingredients trapped under the rest*

6) Now add in your chocolate chips, I use two cups, but I love chocolate so use as much as you'd like

7) Take your baking sheets and roll ( I do 2-3 inches usually but you can make them whatever size you'd like) balls and place them on the baking sheet. *** Do NOT smash them down (side eye at Sam)*** This typically makes 36 cookies

8) Bake them until golden brown and then let them sit out for five to ten minutes

9) Lastly, enjoy! And then go clean up your chaotically messy kitchen


This is my absolute favorite recipe, if you have a good cookie ( doesn't have to be a chocolate chip) I would love to see it and try it, I'm always looking for more things to bake! And Brooke, if you read this, I would be ecstatic if you were to make my cookies, if you make a video, PLS tag me!!!
