The lyrics are “go find yourself a wife” not “make yourself a wife” but to that aside this is the best cover available that I could find. I’m learning this song. Those vocals are not easy by any means. Only way I can even come close is to sing an octave lower

Amazing. The buildup in emotion is perfectly reflected. The change in your raspiness as he gets “older” and the the softness comes back at the end. It’s just beautiful the way this song comes back full circle. I would put the ending piano notes between the last verse of 60 years old and the last line of once i was seven years old and end on a bass chord. ❤ This is far better than the original.
