Ranking EVERY Structure in Minecraft

Minecraft’s main appeal is all about building things, however the game also has several structures that can generate to give the player loot, exclusive mobs, and more! These include structures like villages, end cities, nether fortresses, and more! Minecraft structures have a wide variety of uses like giving the player items and allowing them to create certain mobs farms like iron farms, raid farms, wither skeleton farms, and more. Currently there are 25 structures in minecraft as of 1.20 (not including trial chambers from 1.21), however some of the structures are definitely better than others, so join me as I rank every structure in minecraft from the worst to the best!

I used to spawn worlds on Minecraft PS4 edition where there would be a woodland mansion every other chunk. My friends all claimed one for themselves and we filled in the interiors. Then we went to war. Good times

there's another use for amethyst you didnt mention, if a jukebox is playing near an allay and you give it an amethyst shard it will duplicate the allay. so it actually has 6 uses

I think ancient cities should be higher. Not only is swift sneak an incredible enchantment, but also since no hostile mobs can spawn in them it can make a really good place to make a base in the late game once you clear all the shriekers.

The best structure is CLEARLY the desert well.

Honestly, I feel like villages should straight-up be number 1 on the ranking. They border on overpowered even after the trading nerfs.

my most weird experience with minecraft's generation has to be that in a world i spawned near a woodland mansion, 2 ocean monuments and village structures, mesa, cherry grove, jungle *and mushroom island* biomes but i had to travel like 500, 000 blocks to find a desert...it was insane!

Fun fact: In Bedrock Edition, witch hut cauldrons can have different potions inside of them. Also, I’m fairly certain that Trail Ruins are broken on Bedrock Edition.

I have a little tip to make Bastians a little easier: Bring Hoppers and mine the block out from under the chest. Place one of the Hoppers under the chest and you can grab the loot without agroing the Piglins.

1:41 this is due to how structures work internally. you can /locate nether fossils which makes them structures, but you cant /locate regular fossils so they're not technically structures

As a pocket edition player! I have always looked back fondly on those old nether generators! It was a creative way at the time to incorporate the nether will the limitations they had then!
Also just the idea of being able to generate your own little nether was pretty nuts! And the nether cores were such a nice block I would use it a lot in creative as pretty floors!

I feel one thing that is worth mentioning is that if you do manage to full clear the ancient City and remove all the Skulk Shriekers, it becomes a peaceful mode area, which in my mind makes it pretty good for a base.
