Arena & New Challenges
Players will be able to use The Sculptor’s Idols not only for a place to heal but also to take on new challenges with Reflections of Strength and Gauntlets of Strength. This place of reflection let’s the “one-armed wolf” relive memories, taking on a re-match against previous foes.

New Outfits
Sekiro will finally be able to adorn some new garb, with the addition of new outfit choices. There are three coming with the update which include “Tengu” and “Old Ashina Shinobi” styles. Two of these new outfits will need to be unlocked by completing Gauntlets, while the third outfit will be unlocked after beating the game once.

Remnants – Asynchronous Feature
Another new feature are player recordings, allowing players to record movements and text of them taking down an enemy that lasts up to 30 seconds. This can be then uploaded for other members in the community to playback and learn from others, and gain some major insight on how to take down a particular foe. From the image shown on the blog, this looks to be in the form of a Sekiro type shadow which you can watch play out the moves needed.

Gauntlet of strength shura is unlocked by completing the shura ending but also by having defeated owl father in the burning building at hirata estate, I haven't completed the gauntlet yet but I do have it unlocked, I played my first playthrough by doing the severance ending, a second playthrough by doing the shura ending and completed the third playthrough the normal way. Shura gauntlet wont be unlocked until you have completed the owl father fight in hirata estate and completed the shura ending. After defeating lady butterfly you can receive a second memory of hirata estate where lady butterfly is replaced with owl father.

I assumed the unlocking of the various gauntlets of strength were tied to completing each ending. I’ve completed 3/4 endings and had access to 3/4 of gauntlets when I got the patch. I’m not sure tho

I've already gotten guntlet of shura, I think it's just something you have access to if you've gotten the shura ending.

I just beat this game yesterday. I held off on updating until after I beat the game. While the DLC isn't game changing it's free so I can't complain.

Genichiro Way of Tomoe is set as a separate boss encounter than Isshin Sword Saint? Oh man, that's like leaving the weakest bully to fend for himself as the shadows of wronged gamers hulk toward him, cracking knuckles.

My only gripe with this update is that beating inner isshin or inner father doesn't give you a weapon art

I had all them from the get go aside from mortal journey... so I’m assuming you prbbly have to play that playthrough to get the gauntlet... as in do a shura run to get the shura gauntlet... also the shura skin looks sick

I have the Shura gauntlet but not the immortal journey one. I think you need to unlock it through the Shura or Homecoming endings respectively

You have to get the Shura ending and defeat Owl Father to unlock the Shura Gauntlet
