The All India Lawyers Association for Justice has reportedly written to the BAR Council of Karnataka, opposing a talk organized on UCC where Advocate J Sai Deepak will be the speaker. "The main speaker proposed for the event is known to be a staunch supporter of India being turned into a Hindu Rashtra, a proposition that runs counter to our constitutional democracy," they wrote in a letter to the Bar Council.
