Last December, My father experienced heavy sweating, anxiety and heaviness in his left arm when he was about to leave the house to catch a train. Thankfully, he didn't ignore the symptoms and quickly visited the hospital. Got admitted for a few days and later underwent his bypass surgery. He's doing much better now, and I'm so grateful to the almighty that my father did not ignore his initial discomfort. I suggest everyone to get regular check ups done, eat clean and follow an active lifestyle. 👍

As a MD-Medicine doctor,
Symptoms and signs of Heart attack are
Chest pain predominantly but not always.. sometimes epigastric pain means pain in upper abdomen...and most of the people thinks this upper abdominal pain is due to gas or gastritis..they ignore... actually this is the first episode of Heart attack, which they passed it..most of the people die on second and third episode of Heart attack.
Nausea vomiting dizziness giddiness ghabrahat shoulder pain, jaw pain etc. All these are signs and symptoms of heart attack which is called MI ( Myocardial Infarction)
People who are more prone to Heart attack/MI are Diabetic means sugar patients, BP patients (Hypertension), hypothyroidism, obesity, Dyslipidemia.
Smoking, excessive alcohol, eating more fast foods, etc etc.
And these patients also may have chances of CVA ( Cerebro Vascular Attack) i.e., paralysis ..
So, these patients must visit/consult their doctors regularly.

At Wednesday my brother got sudden heart attacked at the age of 32, the reason behind attack exactly the same as you told. Now he is fine and anyone who is reading my comment kindly follow dhruv brother advice seriously.

This topic is very important i lost my dad 2 months back due to sudden cardiac arrest he was having very minor chest and back pain and just as he complete his dinner he lost his all senses and in less then 5 mins dr declared him death he was just 50 do take precaution and prepare if you find any such symptoms in anyone take them to hospital without delay

My grandpa who is 86 years old who has very active lifestyle, had absolutely no symptoms but watching new heart attack case everyday we thought it's better to get an Angiogram in that he was diagnosed with 90% block in which means he could get heart attack anytime. But thankfully they were identified in this Angiogram and was sliced with just two stunts and two days bed rest.

If someone has close family history of heart attack chances increases multifold.
Those who have a family history must undergo a complete heart checkup like 2-D echocardiography etc in their early 30s only no matter how much fit they feel .

I had widow maker heart attack (LAD) in January, my symptom was back pain which I ignored for more than 24 hour thinking it could be related to back muscle pain, but when pain get extreme and intolerant I decide go to hospital where they found something wrong in ECG, I was immediate shifted in ICU and angioplasty was done in LAD having total occlusion. I am just 33 years, i survived major attack for more than 24 hours

People often treat heart attack, heart failure, cardiac arrest, CAD as same but they are different and same treatment doesn't work for all. That's why in some cases even after taking precautionary measure patient dies.
- Heart Attack- When heart muscle damaged suddenly due to lack of blood supply
- Heart failure- Heart doesn't pump blood effectively to meet body demands
Cogngestion of lungs is major symptom of heart failure.
-And cardiac arrest is when heart stops beating. This is wht happens when ECG goes pip pip cardiac arrest
