The A350 was not mentioned once in this video (at least not in a way that explains AAL has something to do with them)

If AA would purchase the Boeing 777-9X airplane in the distant future, they can open up newer long-range markets, boost a higher capacity layout with two to three classes and operate out of certain airfields. The A350 would be nice as well in the AA long-haul fleet, but AA relied heavily on the Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" to begin with and had since forfeited their once original order for 25 of the A350s that were destined for "then" US Airways. Of course, this would not mean that they wouldn't "pair" these two amazing airplanes on similar future markets. The 787 and the A350 have both excelled very nicely for other carriers. I would definitely think they would do well for any of the "legacy carriers" like AA, or UA for instance. I recently heard that AA was lobbing with Boeing, to probably consider developing the 787-10 IGW. This would increase 500-600 miles to the original -10 range. I don't know if this has since been shelved, or is it still considered.

These are my favorite videos you make. I really wonder what direction AA will go when it comes time to replace the 777s.

All the major carriers need a mix of Airbus and Boeing just to deal with supply issues. We know what happens with all the eggs in one basket.

I do hope American sticks with Boeing on Long haul fleet. 787, 777 and 777X. As a frequent American flyer I really appreciate the feel of the Boeing aircraft. Using a mix of Boeing and Airbus on shorter haul makes sense but for long haul sticking with Boeing makes financial sense.

Yes, American’s fleet compare favorably to United and Delta. I cannot believe Delta still fly 757 and 767-300 to Hawaii.

AAL only sends one flight to Australia, LAX>SYD, and they use a 773ER exclusively for this route.

Can you do Thai Airways? There’s a lot of changes to its fleet since the pandemic period.

How about looking at a less covered airline from yesterday, "Interflug" of east Germany? I'm certain there's going to be some items of interest in that story.
