Wow, I thought I was the only one who gets almost possessed at the library. My husband makes sure to check on me regularly when we visit because I will go home with 15 titles and wonder wth happened when I'm sitting in my piles of unread books. Regular shopping makes me anxious as hell so I feel going to the library is almost like binging 😆. Anyway, thank you for the recs! I appreciate the range of genres you included 🙏

I read Tumble because of your wrap up video and I was in tears! I could relate so much, especially navigating relationships with bio dad’s family who is more involved than dad.

Love, love, love Crystal Maldonado! Both of her books were fantastic and the fat rep was so great to see. Really wish I had had books like that when I was a kid. And I love that the family dynamics in both books are complicated and painful, and that the main characters start to deal with that on their own terms instead of there being some sudden happily ever after.

Definitely an auto-buy author for me as well. (Or would be if I could afford to buy new books lol. Auto check out from the library at least!)

I Must Betray You was my first Ruta Sepetys but not my last. We honestly should know more about Romanian history because… well lots of folks would love to adopt some of their ideas and that’s NO BUENO.

Thank you for the middle grade recs! If you're looking for ideas, it would be amazing to see neurodiverse recommendation list for kids. Books that truly center the ND characters.

I was thinking your voice is different. It could be Scabbies, since that is going around at the moment. A mite infection from unclean daycares and prisons who haven't been washed at all. Since they use private companies to 'clean' I am not surprised. Yeah, Children are walking germ factories and like, there is so many different things going about at the moment.
