また日本に帰国出来る日を待ってます!

ちなみに僕は生まれ変わっても日本に生まれたいです

理由としては主に、治安、娯楽、日本人の真面目さ
これが理由ですね

I know, that's what happens to us experiencing living in two countries but I'm honored and happy that you love living in Japan!!🥰

I am Japanese, but I had a chance to visit Scotland because my relatives were working there.
Although it was only for a month or so, I felt a sense of ease that I had never felt in Japan.
It may be that each person, regardless of nationality, has an affinity with his or her environment.

I see Japan suits you personally in several aspects that makes you happy.
My aunt came from Sweden and has lived in Japan as a Swedish national for more than 50 yrs.
She might have always missed one of the two countries as you state, but I feel it is enviable to have choices.
I wish I had any base in Oxford because it's lots of green & calm, people are friendly.

I’m really struggling with this exact problem. I lived in Japan for four years (3 of which were pandemic). I came back for a year to do my Masters - but now I’m struggling with anxiety and guilt about leaving my parents, they’re in their early fifties so they aren’t old, but I still can’t stop thinking about how I wont be able to get there quickly if anything goes wrong. And I love spending time with them. But in every other respect I am happier in Japan, and I like myself more in Japan too. I don’t know what to do. I can’t help but feel like im abandoning them… and now I’m 31. Fluent in Japanese with Japanese BA and MA. Common sense says I should go back but my god I love my parents. Any advice is appreciated.

While I spent challenging year in Durham North East of England, I didn't miss Japan so much. Though I also love beautiful country side of the Border, Scotland, and the North East and fresh seafood there, good company there, British, Spanish, Basque, American, Chinese, French and a (Japanese) girl friends, was a key factor to enjoy living there. I guess you can love living in Japan partly because you can also enjoy good company esp. with your husband, probably because you're nice person. I wish you a long life happiness.

個人的にイギリスは欧州でもカッコイイと思ってる。

ちょっと面倒臭いな。

While I was in the United States, I missed Japan, thinking that my friends in Japan were having all the fun stuff like TV show or cool stuff like Pokemon or Dragonball or what have you. I was able to go back to Japan for summer vacation, and I realized that it was fun to have some beer (I was over 20 years old at that time) and hang around with friends, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. So you are right, once I went back to Japan and seeing my family and friends, I was able to go back to US and enjoy the life there. Los Angels is very nice weather, almost sunny all the time, you can drive couple of hours to do some skiing during winter too. Majority of people are friendly, and a lot of excitement living there. But there are dangerous area that you want to avoid and stay away from trouble. All and all, I wanted to live in LA, but I could not find a nice job there. So I ended up coming back to Japan, got a good job, got married and settled down. Now I am happy living in Japan. I hope you will find your happiness here in Japan too.

No matter which country you want to live in, it is important to have a dream, that you want to achieve.
For me, I did have plans on pursuing my dreams in Japan, but along with The United States of America at the same time, as I am influenced with cultures from both countries.

Hello, I haven't been to the UK for 34 years but I still miss your beautiful country and I'd very much like to travell there again in the near future and visit the places I had visited then again!

Thank you for saying that you like Japan, and I am happy as a Japanese.
She is wondering whether to live in the UK or Japan, but whichever she chooses, I think she will miss the other in the future.
When I couldn't decide which one to use, I read in a book a long time ago that it would be better to choose "the one who should do it".

Thank you for sharing. With life, there are no wrong choices.
I grew up in London, have lived in Australia, (Brisbane) and Miami. Tampa Bay, Nashville and Now in North Dallas. Loved them all. Who knows Japan?

I'm really glad you like Japan. I live in London now and my current hope is to live in Japan during autumn and winter and in London during spring and summer.😁 But it would change depending on my family's situation in the future.
