Hiiiiiiiiii!! I know I said my exam vlog was my last school vlog of my second year of med school but I decided to revive the clips I filmed of my OSCE prep and hodge podge together a vlog!

Every year in med school, we have a summative OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) where we have 10 stations with different patient scenarios :o This is me prepping for it... at the last min once again....

I've been watching your videos for a while now and it's been so fun to see you grow not only on this channel but with your clinical knowledge as well!! Just thought I'd drop a little tip that I've learned as a PT student (and am currently studying for my boards!) even though you're clearly done with your OSCE, if you're having a difficult time finding a radial pulse, try passively bringing the wrist into extension. This increases the tension on the vessel a bit and it brings it a little closer to the surface which makes it easier to palpate. I learned this when we had to take vitals manually for cardiac exercise testing and it has come in handy quite a few times clinically! :) Good luck as you begin 3rd year and begin your clerkship!
