All Disney Princess films had a female villain, until… 1991.
The first male villain in a Disney Princess film was Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, followed by Jafar in Aladdin… and Governor Ratcliffe.. and Shan Yu.
Hmm.. Well now, Disney used the 90’s to even that out, didn’t they?
