MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s first year as a married couple is being made into a brand new film. The film, called Becoming Royal, promises to “pull back the curtain to reveal untold joys and challenges” faced by the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The film also promises to put “Harry and Meghan's core values to the test as they try to find the balance between honouring Royal tradition and staying true to their beliefs."
It could also feature speculation on the alleged rift between the Duchess of Sussex and her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
Other important moments over the last 12 months include Meghan's first solo royal engagement, her pregnancy, Meghan and Harry’s first royal tour as a married couple, as well as royal events such as the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
British actor Charlie Field, who appeared in an episode of Poldark, will play Prince Harry. While US actress and presenter Tiffany Smith, who has had minor roles in shows including Jane the Virgin, will play Meghan.
The film could touch on the ongoing public tension between Meghan and her dad Thomas Markle and half-sister, Samantha Markle. It could also feature speculation on the alleged rift between the Duchess of Sussex and her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
