Oppo came out almost a year ago and still holds its place with the current top flagship phones! Such a beast!

You don't speak about chargers. I charge my Oppo within 25 minutes from zero to 100% with 65 Watts charger. Even thought the Samsung S21 Ultra has 5000 mAh battery, it needs much more longer to charge with its 25 Watts charger (that you have to buy separately!). It is 25 or 35 Watts? But it doesn't change a thing. Most of the time. I plug my Find X2 Pro 10 to 15 minutes and I reach 100% from 65% or 50% battery . And I almost forgotten it. Charger is inside the box as well as a transparent back cover to protect the leather. The color isn't change still today (8 months later).

I've currently got both phones (was planning to sell the oppo). From what I've seen so far..

The screen is better on the oppo. It's easier to see in the day, much crisper and seems smoother, the screen on the Samsung doesn't seem to have as much contrast and looks a bit flat. The screen on the oppo seems to burst a lot more.

The storage on the Samsung sounds enough but just downloading a few bigger games and all the apps I like in just in case has used 80gb (leaving only a out 40gb left. I would still have well over 400gb left on the oppo!).

The speed of the phones are identical from what I've seen. If you are opening a lot of apps the Samsung still keeps them running however it does start to slow down compared to the oppo.

The charging! Samsung have let themselves down with this one. I refuse to buy the Samsung charger (which is £30!). The charging takes hours if you're using the phone (even thought it's meant to be super fast charging). The Samsung doesn't work with other chargers and is really temperamental. the oppo only takes 40 minutes to charge or about an hour while using it. No comparison. The oppo is missing wireless charging but I never found it an issue.

The cameras are both phones are pretty amazing however the Samsung really does struggle with auto focus and lower light while the oppo has no issue at all. The extra zoom you'll think will be a huge improvement but from what I've seem you don't need the extra telephoto as you can't see the things your taking photo of with the normal eye anyway. The oppo has a load of Hidden features that you have to search for but from what I've seen there isn't a camera that beats it overall.

The operating system on the Samsung I thought would never be beaten (I've had loads of Samsungs) but after using the oppo I've found the Samsung very clumpy and slow. I've had loads of bugs with it too which I have never had with another phone. The oppos system never misses a beat gives you so much personalisation which I didn't think I'd need but use all the time. Plus all the short cut gestures are so much easier and simpler to use than the Samsung (I find my self on YouTube trying to work the features out on the Samsung).

While setting up the Samsung It took me about 4 hours to set up while the oppo probably took just over an hour. Don't know why the Samsung took so long but it wasn't a smooth experience.

Sadly the Samsung for me has been a let down. Was so excited to get it but every day use feels like using a 4 year old phone. My mum's s8 seems to work better.... And charge faster !!!!

So basically this video shows Oppo destroying the Ultra in nearly every camera aspect, yet the final poll end of the video shows all the stats have gone the Ultra way?

Also the sound is better on the Ultra is a crock of crap. You also forgot to mention another top Oppo feature, being the super-fast charging system. Also toning down the brightness on the Oppo in one of your first clips to make the Ultra look better?

Bit of a rigged video if you ask me.

I own the oppo find x2 pro and it is so darn good! Smooth no glitches at all and the cameras are one of the best even in 2021

I have the Oppo and what do you mean with the Adaptive refresh rate it has the option to auto chose the refresh rate and resolution depending on the Content you watch, isnt that adaptive?
Also I dont think the sound on the samsung is better it sounds muffeld and weak imo, also whats the point of more MP if the video and Photo are better, maybe you should rethink the scores : )

Around $700 difference between the two here and who cares about the looks and camera bumps when anyone with a brain is going to hide it all in a case or wallet? The choice of colour is also moot because of this, I wish reviewers would give up on whining about colour/feel of these devices.

Update for April 2023 : On second hand market, unboxed without accessories, with 2 years warranty: Oppo FindX2Pro - 250€/£/$, SamsungS21Ultra - 500€/£/$. So no brainer i think

The exynos doesn't process image and video like the snapdragon version. If you were to get a S21 ultra I would definitely recommend the snapdragon over the exynos.

Oppo can really become big now that Huawei's Google dilemma seems yo be a losing battle. Oppo has the capability and technology to snatch Huawei's market share. They just really need to play their cards right.

I have the oppo and there are currently 3 problems with it.

1. Curved display, looks cool but can really be annoying sometimes

2. There is no Theme Store in Europe due to GDPR

3. There's no Apple Pay. I used an iPhone before and I just loved Apple Pay, I used it all the time but obviously can't do that anymore.

However I really enjoy this phone :))

U didn't speak about how the oppo has 1 billion and 10 bit color screen. It isn't fair to do this type of videos. It also has adaptive refresh rate

Wow this is a very rapid grow! About 2 days ago the channel was 8.8k now its 9.2k!
But there is some points I would like to point out, can you please also say the charging speed and when it comes to face recognition, it is a 2d face unlock.
And for the versus app, I really like it but there is a lot of non-sens comparisons like the mate 40 pro plus is 77 while the mate 40 pro is 88, and other more.
Anyways for the giveaway, there is no reason why I deserve the headphone other than anyone else, other people may really need proper headphones so I belive they should deserve, but I won't lose anything if I participate!
