Once you fully realize just how Christ's death and resurrection has left the demonic truly impotent before the power of His name, they become spiritual practice dummies, something to just wail on without remorse or restraint. If one of them asks "Who are you?" all you have to say is something to the effect of, "It doesn't matter who I am, it only matters who the Christ is. Jesus of Nazareth, Son of the Living God, The Word incarnate, God With Us, also known as the One who kicked in the doors of death and hell, robbed you of all power, left you toothless and afraid, took your keys, took all these hostages you _thought_ you were going to be able to keep, and left you with the one tool He could never use - lies. That's what matters, and that's why you ARE going to leave. Now. Because your lies have no power over God's Living Truth."

That's how you talk to demons when you run into them, whether in prayer for someone or fighting against their lies in your own life. This is how I was delivered from a 14-year battle with major depression. God showed me what was pouring those thoughts into my life, and I gave that piece of spiritual filth a Holy beatdown with the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. That was in 1998, and it's left me alone ever since. The daily suicidal thoughts, gone. The fog of unspeakable sadness, lifted. Hope restored, revived, and filled to overflowing.


God is so very, very good. Always.
