Real People, Real Experiences | Work Zone Awareness Week 2023

This week, April 17-21, is National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW). This year’s theme, “Work With Us,” aims to bring national attention to the shared responsibility of motorists and workers to ensure the safety of our work zones.

This new video features real VDOT employees sharing their real experiences from their work zones across the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is a serious reminder that work zone safety is everyone's responsibility and that real lives are at stake.
