The first horse I bought was 15 years old. I had her until she was 44. She was my best friend, my therapist, my safety in a crazy world. Harlow is missing out on that beautiful bond.

My first horse was 18 or so (rescue roundabout 😂) when I first got her, she’s literally kept me alive during my worst times and has actively saved my life whilst riding, because of her I can handle raising my now 3 year old gelding, and when he’s being a silly goose, she’s always got my back to give me that comfort, she’s 23-24ish now, and I plan on having her around for the rest of her damn life, I got my mare when I was 16, I’m almost 21 now, and that’s my best friend right there, my heart horse, and almost everyone in my life told me she wasn’t the right horse for me, they wanted me to get the younger horse with the grand aspirations behind them, but I heavily doubt those horses would’ve given me the companionship I NEEDED as a child, period. I can’t imagine not having that equine shoulder to cry on who’s wiser than you and will take care of you when you need it most, seriously. Why is it so hard for young equestrians to get an older, more experienced horse as their first? And when I say older, all I mean is not single digits, because geez the work I put into my three year old tires ME out and I’m 21, I can’t imagine not having that rest with my mare and I absolutely can’t fathom that amount of work so young 😭

I was given a young pony when I was little myself, it ruined my confidence for years. Harlow doesn’t deserve this, I hope it doesn’t go badly for her. Her mom needs to be stopped though

Listening to Harlow’s mother continually interrupt her told me all I needed to know on who was the driving force behind this new content idea. Shame.

The way Raleigh’s face changed when she said “he is only three…” 😅

Thank you so much for not accusing a child and instead the responsible guardian instead, love you Raleigh and keep up the good work!!

I’m Harlow’s age, and when I was younger I was so jealous of her and her life. Safe to say I’m not jealous anymore😭🙏 her mother is absurd

I’m 13, have an ottb and my coach taught me how to train her out of her past track training. My friend recently got a 3 year old Dutch harness who was abused and asked me to help her train him since I have more training experience. My jaw dropped when she said a few months, because it’s been a couple months of training and he is no where near being ready for a show. They need to lower their expectations a lot.

She needs a HORSE not a pony and one who has had training!

To be honest she needs to get a horse, instead of a pony.

I feel the same way with this one. Mom seems too excited, Harlow not as much. First thing I thought was, “BAD idea.” Sadly, Harlow is already too tall for the new pony.

Harlow looks genuinely tense handling that pony. She’s not ready.

It’s the fact Harlow has panda at a trainers right now yet she’s getting a baby

This was crazy irresponsible on Chelsea’s part. Harlow didn’t even want to train Panda, who they describe as a literal saint, so how the heck is she going to train a 3 year old? And for gods sake, they need to stop buying ponies and maybe give her an actual horse.

Another great example of why these family channels are absolute trash.
Her Mom couldn't care less about her daughter, or the ponies because it's all about money and views. This is a disaster waiting to happen and her mother is gonna make a clickbait video out of it. 👍

Harlow is already too tall for that pony — also, the way she keeps trying to yank up his head as he attempts to graze drives me insane. He simply wants to graze not look at a camera for views.
