I got the 78 back when it came out. The more I learn and look at pictures, the Boogeyman is actually the most accurate to what the mask really looked like, while the 78 tries to capture some shadow and the mean look from certain scenes. I used to wonder why people had so many Myers masks, but I now have like 5 myself. Thanks to TOTS for making that possible. I remember getting my first "real" one back in 2009: the Paper Magic one that really doesn't look very close, and it was still $50!

That's the best Myers mask tots offers in my opinion. Definitely has the look of a converted captain kirk.

When you put the mask on it looked perfect. I have a bunch of the TOTS masks, the '78 is disappointingly too big and the Elrod is tight around the nose for me. The 2018 fits me perfectly so The Boogeyman should be just right, I like the hair better on this than the Elrod.

I have one ordered, expected to be here by Halloween. Hopefully early enough for me to add the glue marks on the side.

Thank u sm for the vid!! I didn't know that the boogeyman and the Elrod mask have different sizes. I already have the boogeyman mask but might aswell buy the Elrod mask cause my head is pretty small. The vid was very helpful!!

Mmmm, I'm a 23 inch head so I guess this would be a better fit to buy, as everybody (including you) says that the 78 is massive?

Thanks for the comparison. I bought the 78 and 2018 last nov 2020. I had the 2018 rehauled but hate my 78 mask. I've since then purchased a couple $400 MM masks and love them but for some reason I still want the boogeyman mask. It still calls my name. Every time I see the boogeyman mask I'm like its so nice for $60 and looks the closet to the 78 movie mask at that price range. It has the Shatner look. Your video helped me to go ahead and pick one up. I plan to sell my 78 mask bc its way too big and doesn't really represent the h1 mask well. Thanks for sharing.

Great vid I almost got the 78 but after seeing this vid I just ordered my boogieman. That is bye for the best Myers mask you can get for 60 bucks it looks almost on par with the Night Owl Creep mask and that's 350 so yeah fantastic looking mask perfect size and perfect amount of flesh tone under the chin and neck. my only downer would be no side burn line but hey not to much of a big deal sick mask.

I've been torn between getting the 78 and Boogyman mask. Any opinions of positives and negatives of both? I know he said 78 has more details but I do LOVe the profile of this one!

For me, the Boogeyman is the definitive look for a Michael Myers mask. This mask fits me just right, it may a be just a little loose, but it still looks good on me. The 78 is just too big, it feels like when I put it on, I look like young Michael in Halloween 07, like a bobble head. But i still like the 78, my only gripe about the 78, is the hair, it’s the layered hair, which I hate, the hair on the Boogeyman has a full hair, which I love.
Also, if you look on the back of the Boogeyman mask, it says it’s a Halloween II mask. Really weird.

Only thing that bugs me about the 78 shape mask is the mouth slit but it's supposed to mimic the castle stretch.
